139 Gets A Home

IMG_0052

At the same time Puck was making Tony fall in love with him, I was wandering down the other side of cages looking at all the kittens. All of a sudden I feel a tug at my arm and this beautiful grey kitten has caught me! I notice he is with a few other kittens in the same cage. We found out he was #139 and had two brothers and three sisters waiting for adoption. I immediately asked to spend time with this little grey fur ball and asked Tony if we could have two. They could be brothers! Puck and 139 were the same age, three months, and they would have a playmate while we were at work.

Of course Tony couldn’t resist my pleading and the cuteness of this cat with no name, so we ended up with the two boys! Tony came up with the name Wolfgang, since we already had Puck. It seemed to fit. It took an extra week to get Wolfie home due to an infection, but once Tony brought Wolfie into the mix Puck was quick to become friends.

I never imagined I would adopt a kitten, let alone two! Yet it seemed like the biggest blessing that could have happened to us newlyweds at the time. And we have been in love ever since!
